Rockfest 2010

Featuring extreme rock crawling, mud riding, ATV trails, live music, and so much more, Rockfest 2010 at the Great American Park LLC is Auburn’s hottest and rockiest event of the summer! Be there August 21 to experience the ultimate off-road event for trucks and ATVs, as well as some of the best music in Auburn. Rockfest 2010 has something for everyone of all ages, so bring your family and friends and get ready to rock the end of summer!!!

 

Come and watch some of the most thrilling and exhilarating rock crawling in Alabama as trucks take on the challenging obstacles and trails, including the never-before-seen Spencer’s Jaws! Whether you are a beginner or expert, or simply just want to watch, Rockfest 2010 at the GAP is the perfect place for you to enjoy some of the best rock crawling around.

 

While Rockfest 2010 is all about the rocks, of course, you can still enjoy a day of down and dirty mud-slinging action! All of the mud riding areas will be open on Saturday, August 21. If you think your truck is up to the challenge, check out the Boomerang, the Big Amazon, the Montezuma, or the Hogwallow, our four toughest and dirtiest places to ride! If stock is more your style, cut up in the Stock Cage riding area for stock trucks. If ATVs are how you get ‘er done, then spend your day splashing through the Dixie Waterbowl or cruising around our trails covering over 160 acres!

 

Rock out that night to live entertainment with some of the hottest bands around. Featuring Fly-by Radio and Leah Pritchard and the Drive, Rockfest 2010 presents a night of good music and great fun after a day of the best rock crawling and mud riding in the southeast. The concert begins at 5:00 pm.

 

Rockfest 2010 is THE place to rock out the end of your summer with family and friends. If one day just isn’t enough, then bring your tents and RVs starting Thursday evening, August 19, and spend the weekend with us! Whether you come for the weekend or just a day, you don’t want to miss the hottest event of the summer: Rockfest 2010 at the Great American Park LLC.

Tickets

The park will open Thursday evening, August 19, at 5:00 pm for campers to set up their tents and RVs. Riding will be allowed on Friday, August 20, for rock crawlers at the Powercrawl 2010 and ATVs at the Dixie Waterbowl and trails. Please note that the mud riding areas WILL NOT be open on Friday. Rockfest 2010 begins Saturday, August 21, at 9:00 am. Guests who have not paid to camp must leave by midnight. The park will close on Sunday, August 22, at 6:00 pm. All guests must leave the premises at this time.

 

Only cash is accepted for ticket purchases. Pre-Sale tickets will end Thursday, August 19, at 11:00pm. Tickets will be available at the gate the day of the event. You may purchase a two-day pass for Friday and Saturday or a one-day pass for Saturday only. Tickets for Friday and Saturday will be pre-sold at a discounted price beginning July 26 at the following locations:

Bring your pre-sold tickets with you to the gate on the day of the event. You must sign and fill out a release form at the gate. Anyone under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian’s signature on his or her form. Click here to print this form. You will then receive a wristband that corresponds with the pass that you have purchased. Anyone caught on premises without the proper wristband for that day will be fined $50 or removed from the park for trespassing.

 

Park will be open rain or shine. There will be absolutely no refunds. In the case of a cancellation due to severe weather, pre-purchased tickets may be used at our next opening on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Please see our Severe Weather Policy for details concerning cancellations.

Camping

Camping is limited, so please email us at info@thegreatamericanpark.com to reserve your spot. Include your name, the number of spots you wish to reserve, and how many people will be sleeping in your tent or RV. Please note that camping is primitive—there are no hook-ups for power or water at this time. Any remaining spots may be purchased on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the event.

 

There will be a $25 charge per tent or RV for a weekend pass of camping. This means that you may camp up to three (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) nights for one low price.

 

The person who purchases the camping spot will be required to fill out a camping form to register for camping at the gate. He or she will be given the exact number of camping wristbands for his or her camping party. It is his or her responsibility to ensure that all members of the camping party receive their wristbands. Anyone who is caught camping without the proper wristband will pay a $50 fine or be removed from the premises for trespassing. If you need to add additional campers to your party after you have registered at the gate, the person who registered must accompany the additional guest to the front gate to acquire another camping wristband.

 

There will be absolutely NO camping in parking lot areas. You must camp in the designated campground. Please respect other campers during quiet hours from 11pm to 8am.

Absolutely no glass allowed in the park.

 

Anyone who is caught on the premises without a wristband will be fined $50 or removed from the park for trespassing. This includes people who camp without paying for a camping spot.
